The standard electric adjustable bed mechanism comes free with almost all beds*.


5 part movement with maximum 18 stone weight capacity.

We recommend that if you are about 16 stone, it would be advisable to upgrade to the heavy duty mechanism as it is easy to put on a couple of pounds each year and you do not want to have any problems with your mechanism.

As with all mechanisms the weight limits are for when the weight is distributed accross the whole frame NOT on one point.

  

The Ultimo Frame is for weight limits of up to 25 stone as standard frames are up to 18 stone.


The Ultimo Frame has thicker woodwork, slats, stronger metal work and more powerful motors.

This mechanism has all the same qualities of all Laybrook products with the mechanism being of an extremely high quality and a 5yr guarantee.

This mechanism is for weight limits of up to 33 stone. This frame has beech wood slats which are stong and durable and are housed in a surrounding metal frame and held in place by heavy duty shoes it has a higher grade motors.

This is a 5 part movement frame and has guiders in the middle to adjust the feel of the base of your bed to firmer or softer.

Individual movements on the head and foot section allow adjustments to the exact positioning for the correct support.

 This mechanism is an upgrade when the item is purchased with a Laybrook bed.

 This mechanism can be added to any of our beds and is a special order item.

This mechanism can raise up 18 inches from the starting position whilst the mattress frame is in any position. (i.e. legs raised, head raised or flat).

This mechanism can be set to a comfortable height to help aid the person to stand up out of the bed whilst sitting on the edge.

You must be sat in the middle section or laying down whilst raising the bed.

This mechanism has all the same qualities of all Laybrook products with the mechanism being of an extremely high quality and a 5yr guarantee.

This mechanism slides back towards the wall as it raises at the back this means that you will be closer to your bedside table when the bed is raised fully at the back.The bed slides back towards the wall as the back of the bed rises AND IS 10 INCHES CLOSER THAN A STANDARD MECHANISM.

 This bed mechanism is a High Low mechanism with Slideback and can be very low to the floor to enable smaller persons or people with difficulty getting their legs into bed.

This mechanism slides back towards the wall as it raises at the back this means that you will be closer to your bedside table when the bed is raised fully at the back.The bed slides back towards the wall as the back of the bed rises.

This mechanism can be set to a comfortable height to help aid the person to stand up out of the bed whilst sitting on the edge.

It can be lowered down to 16 inches to allow a person with difficulty gettting their leg into bed.
