Coronavirus (COVID-19) Policy

Coronavirus policyLaybrook are aware that many of our customers and clients are increasingly concerned about the situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the UK.

At this time, the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone who works for and with Laybrook is our top priority. As such, we want to reassure that we currently have no concerns about an outbreak of the COVID-19 virus occurring within our staff, and we have had no confirmed or suspected cases amongst any of our colleagues or clients.

Representatives & Engineers

All representatives and engineers will:

  • Have an alcohol gel wash on their vehicle which must be used before every visit.
  • Gloves will be on everyone’s vehicle and will be used on each visit.
  • Will have fresh face-masks for every visit.

Laybrook delivery & installation procedures

Laybrook are endeavouring to provide the securest way for our customers and staff to continue delivering our products in the safest & most hygenic possible way. if you already have a bed, chair, mattress, etc. on order you can change the delivery date if you are concerned.

When your bed, chair, mattress is ready for delivery, you will receive a call from our dispatch office. we normally contact you 2/3 days before to book a time and date which we confirm with the customer. if you would prefer not to have delivery on this date, you can discuss with dispatch and we can arrange another date for the following week or when they are in your area.

The engineer will contact you 1 to 1.5 hours before we arrive so you can isolate in another room if you wish after allowing them entry. please indictae which room you would like to have your bed installed. you do not need to be present when we carry out the installation.

The engineer will be wearing new masks & new gloves, he will have sanitiser, anti-bacterial wipes in this van. when he enters your property, he will go directly to your room of choice to install bed, chair, mattresses etc. at no time will he come into contact with any surfaces in your home without using gloves.

Where possible, all products will be wrapped in plastic and not in contact with engineer. you do not have to sign any paperwork if you prefer not to but the engineer will ask you to authorise payment by calling the office or by video.

When the engineer leaves your property his mask, gloves with be destroyed and replaced with new. He will use sanitiser provided before next install, where again he will use new mask, gloves ect.

At no time do you need to come into contact with our engineers.

Many thanks for your understanding through this difficult time.
